Troubled Tiger Woods is still on course to visit Ireland this summer for a prestigious charity golf event.
The American has twice previously participated in the JP McManus Invitational Pro-Am in Limerick and it is hoped he will be present again in July.
Actors Samuel L Jackson and Hugh Grant have already committed to attend the two-day event which takes place every five years at Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort.
In 2007, Woods committed to McManus that he would come to Adare this year, but doubts about his participation were raised following revelations of extra-marital affairs. However, neither McManus nor Woods have stated that he would not be making an appearance in Limerick this year.
A pro-am spokeswoman said last night: “We have had no update yet. We still don't know — that's where it's been for while.”
