Tyrone GAA manager in car crash

Tyrone Manager Mickey Harte has sustained injuries after the car he was travelling in went 'off the road' this morning.

Tyrone GAA sources told the BBC Mr Harte's car "had gone off the road" and that his vehicle was a "write off", he was apparently able to walk away from the scene, before being taken to hospital.

It was also reported that a lorry may have been involved in the accident, which happened near Carrickmore .

The All-Ireland winning manager who lifted the All-Ireland Trophy with his county side last month, is now being treated at Craigavon Hospital, Co Armagh.

It is believed he suffered cuts and bruises in the accident.
