The 30ft climbing wall was taken between 1pm on Sunday and 8am on Monday.

A 30ft climbing wall has been stolen from a scout hut.

The Spectrum Sports four-sided mobile wall was taken between 1pm on Sunday and 8am on Monday, Leicestershire Police said.

The wall, also measuring 9ft wide, was left on a trailer outside Melton Scout campsite in Holwell Lane.

It is used regularly by the scouts and provides income for the group when it is hired out for public events.

The serial number of the wall has been sent to other scout groups in case they are offered a chance to buy it.

The force have asked anyone who saw the wall being driven away from the campsite or knows where it may be to contact Pc 344 Jonathan Shaw on 101, quoting crime number 18*231191.
