A £5,000 reward is being offered in a bid to find an armed robber who has kidnapped two people.
There have been two incidents in the New Forest area of Hampshire this month - prompting the offer from the Crimestoppers charity.
In the latest, the robber kidnapped a woman from Lymington for a time and drove around in her own car on December 14.
The man approached a house and pointed a gun to threaten the people who live there - a woman in her 60s and a man in his 70s. The man suffered a minor head injury during a confrontation with the suspect inside the house. No shots were fired but about £100 in cash was stolen.
The robber then stole the couple's car, Peugeot 207 convertible, with the woman forced to travel in the front passenger seat. She was returned home uninjured.
Police said they were linking the incident to a robbery on December 5 at Brockenhurst railway station where a man had parked his Porsche. The gunman approached him and ordered him back into the car before driving around and forcing the man to withdraw and hand over a "significant" amount of cash.
A Crimestoppers spokesperson said: "The New Forest has a reputation for being a safe and peaceful place to live and visit and these crimes have caused a great amount of distress and unrest for communities across the region.
"I would urge anyone with information about these crimes to contact Crimestoppers anonymously and help us bring these wanted individuals to justice. We only want to know what you know, not who you are."
Three men have been arrested in connection with the robberies but all have been released without charge. Detectives have urged the robber to contact the police after it was revealed he may have money worries.
The suspect was described as white, 35-55 years old, 5ft 10in, of average build, with dark hair. He was wearing a dark blue or black beanie hat, which was folded up.
