A man accused of historic sex abuse at children's homes will face 14 further charges after more potential victims came forward, the National Crime Agency (NCA) said.
John Allen, 72, appeared at Caernarfon Crown Court yesterday where he was indicted on 11 counts of indecent assault, two of buggery and one of rape, taking place between 1972 and 1991.
He already stood accused of 32 offences involving 14 boys and one girl, aged between seven and 15 at the time, stretching back to 1968.
But on August 8, a court heard that eight further people had contacted the police since his first appearance at Mold Magistrates' Court.
Allen, of Foxglove Avenue, Needham Market, Ipswich, denies all the charges.
He was arrested in April as part of Operation Pallial, the investigation by the NCA into allegations of historic child abuse at care homes in North Wales.
He was released on bail and will appear at Mold Crown Court on February 7.
