Attwater crowned king of the ice
Ex-EastEnders actor Sam Attwater has been crowned champion of Dancing on Ice.
The 24-year-old raised a few eyebrows with his performance of Bolero, by ending with his hand on partner Brianne Delcourt's breast.
The three finalists - Attwater and TV presenters Chloe Madeley and Laura Hamilton - each had to perform a showcase dance and a favourite routine from the series.
Attwater went first and scored an impressive 29.5 for his energetic performance to Footloose. It even impressed Jason Gardiner - although the coruscating judge still only gave him 9.5, docking half a point because one lift was not perfect.
He described the performance as 'feisty' and said: "You are a true champion and it was a wonderful opening, well done."
Attwater's favourite routine was River Dance, for which he got 28.5 - better than his previous score of 27.
Nickelodeon presenter Hamilton performed her showcase to Express Yourself by Madonna, aiming to recreate the sexy pop video.
But the performance, for which she scored 26, just missed the mark. Judge Emma Bunton said: "It was missing the sexy Madonna feel." However she made up for it the reprisal of her routine to I'm So Excited, gaining a perfect score of 30 and persuading Jason to take off his hat.
Madeley clearly put all her effort into a Dirty Dancing inspired performance to I've Had The Time of My Life, scoring 25.5, and then 28.5 for a belly-dancing themed routine to Kiss Kiss. But the winner was decided by audience votes alone and she went out in third place.
This left Hamilton and Attwater to compare Boleros. They both did well with the dance but Jason declared Laura's was "slow to get going" while Sam's was "beautiful" - despite the saucy ending.
