Baby joy for Zara while royals enjoy day at races
A "very happy" Zara and Mike Tindall have welcomed their second child, a daughter.
The newest addition to the royal family is a sister for four-year-old Mia Tindall.
Zara, the Queen's granddaughter, gave birth to the baby girl, weighing 9lb 3oz, at Stroud Maternity Unit in Gloucestershire on Monday.
A spokeswoman for Zara said the couple were "very happy".
The baby is 19th in line to the throne and the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh's seventh great-grandchild.
Former England rugby player Tindall was present at the birth.
Buckingham Palace said the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were delighted at the news, as were the baby's grandparents, the Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips, and Philip and Linda Tindall.
The baby's name has yet to be revealed, but she is a second cousin to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The happy announcement comes more than a year after the couple faced heartbreak when Zara suffered a miscarriage just before Christmas in 2016.
