Police in England searching for a 13-year-old girl who had been missing since the weekend after a row with her family have found a body.
Amber Peat walked out of her family home in Mansfield at around 5.30pm on Saturday after refusing to clean a coolbox used to store food on a recent holiday.
Police were at the scene in the town last night. A formal identification had yet to take place.
Earlier yesterday Amber's mother and stepfather broke down in tears as they spoke at a police conference, saying her disappearance was out of character.
Superintendent Matt McFarlane, of Nottinghamshire Police, had explained that there had been "nothing like this before" with Amber.
