Boris Johnson has launched a fresh expletive-fuelled tirade as his battle to be re-elected London Mayor entered its final days.
The top Tory swore in an angry on-camera retort to a BBC allegation that he sought sponsorship from News International whilst Scotland Yard was investigating phone hacking.
He directed his ire at BBC London political editor Tim Donovan, who ran the story that Mr Johnson had asked the media giant to help fund projects including a cross-Thames cable car.
Being interviewed beside the river, he said he was “very proud” at having secured a total of £100m for projects from various sponsors during his four-year term.
But in a final salvo, he shockingly added: “Stuff Donovan and his f****** b*******.”
