Brothers arrested over stab murder

Two brothers detectives wanted to speak to in connection with the murder of a man who was stabbed to death at a house have walked into a police station.

The 22-year-old man and the 14-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of murder and are in custody after turning up at Woking police station, Surrey Police said.

The body of the man, who was in his 50s, was discovered at a house in Cedar Way, Bellfields, Guildford, just after 10am on Tuesday.

A 49-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on police bail and is due to return to Woking police station on August 29.

A 16-year-old boy who was also arrested on suspicion of murder has been released with no further action, a police spokesman said.

The victim has not yet been formally identified and a post-mortem examination took place at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, he added.
