Buerk evicted from celebrity jungle
Broadcaster Michael Buerk became the third person to be evicted from I'm A Celebrity... Get Met Out of Here! after 19 days on the show.
He said that he was "pleased" to leave but that he would miss his fellow contestants.
"The regime was harder but the people nicer than I expected. I don't regret doing it and an idiotic bit of me regrets leaving them. It's a bit like being in a high-security prison - you don't want to get out."
He said that the lack of food was difficult to deal with: "It's amazing how it alters your mood. People get down when they are hungry."
He also talked about fellow camp-mate, American model Kendra Wilkinson. "Her entire life has been played out on camera. It's always in the back of your mind. You're thinking 'is she going mental or is it just for the cameras?'"
He also talked about his friendship with musician Tinchy Stryder: "He's one of those guys that the more you get to know him the more there is to know."
Buerk backed former X Factor contestant Jake Quickenden to win.
Earlier in the show Foggy (retired World Superbike racer Carl Fogarty) undertook Bushtucker Trial Boulder Dash and won eight stars for the camp.
Quickenden forgot his rumoured romance with evicted model Nadia Forde to flirt with TV presenter Melanie Sykes.
He said: "If my love story comes true they'll leave me and Mel til the end, and you'll slowly fall in love with me."
The pair were also dancing hand-in-hand to Christmas music in the evening.
Buerk had earlier been made Bush Boss and Sykes was made Bush Deputy , and they were told that they were not allowed to help with the chores, which they would have to assign to the others.
Buerk was not impressed with Wilkinson, calling her "insubordinate" and a "stroppy bitch" after she was unwilling to collect wood.
The campmates were rewarded with a trip to the Jungle Arms with alcohol and nuts, where "employee evaluations"' were read out and Stryder was made Employee of the Day.
