Chief fire officer faces rape trial
A chief fire officer is due to stand trial today accused of raping a woman.
Sean Frayne denies a single count of rape alleged to have been committed between November 2006 and January 2007.
The 48-year-old, formerly of Etwall, Derbyshire, is due to appear at Derby Crown Court for a three-day trial.
He was suspended from his post with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service until further notice last March.
