Crown Office named top public-sector firm in workplace equality index
The Stonewall research examines equality for LGBTI staff.
The Crown Office has been named Scotland’s top public-sector employer in an equality index.
It is the fifth year in a row the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) has topped the Stonewall UK workplace equality index for Scotland.
The index measures how supportive and inclusive companies and organisations are with regard to equality for their LGBTI staff.

This year, 434 organisations took part from the private, public and third sectors, with COPFS ranked number 15 in the UK.
The National Assembly for Wales topped the index in the UK, followed by law firm Pinsent Masons.
Crown agent David Harvie said he was proud of the achievement.
