Dad who killed his children died in fall
A father suspected of stabbing his three children to death died from multiple injuries.
Ceri Fuller (35) was found dead in a disused quarry at a Shropshire beauty spot on Monday with the bodies of his children nearby.
A post-mortem examination concluded Mr Fuller died from injuries consistent with a fall from height.
Yesterday it was revealed that a pathologist found that his children Sam (12), Becka aged eight and seven-year-old Charlie had died from stab wounds.
A knife was recovered from the scene at Poles Coppice on Pontesbury Hill, near Shrewsbury.
West Mercia Police said one line of inquiry was that Mr Fuller killed the children before taking his own life.
The force described the deaths as a “tragic family situation” and are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Jamieson, who is leading the investigation, said: “The post- mortem established that Mr Fuller died from multiple injuries consistent with falling from a height.”
