Derry Girls star Jamie-Lee O'Donnell took to the helm of the SS Nomadic in Belfast as part of The National Lottery's 25th birthday celebrations.

The actress visited the historic vessel, which was tender to the Titanic, as part of the #ThanksToYou campaign which will see hundreds of National Lottery-funded venues offering free entry or exclusive offers to visitors with a National Lottery ticket. The offer will run from November 23 to December 1.

Ros Kerslake, chief executive of the National Lottery Heritage Fund, said: "Since 1994, more than 44,000 heritage projects have been awarded over £8 billion via The National Lottery Heritage Fund. This is our way to say thank you for all your support."
