I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! contestants Edwina Currie and Kendra Wilkinson were teamed up for a bushtucker trial only days after they made up following a bad-tempered rumble in the jungle.

The ex-Playboy model branded the former MP "heartless" after she was left in tears during a row in the camp, but the other contestants helped make peace and they soon found themselves working together.

Currie said she had been expecting to be chosen and it was a "relief" to be finally doing a trial.

She said: "To be doing it with Kendra means we have to co-operate so we both have strengths and we both have weaknesses so we'll have to see how we work as a team."

Wilkinson told her she had put their row behind her, saying: "We're moving forward and we're going to work together. I feel stronger. I'll try not to get on your nerves."

She had to answer a series of questions - and risk a dunking in foul-smelling goo if she got them wrong - with every correct answer giving Currie 20 seconds to crawl through a pipe full of eels, crabs and snakes to find the stars she could swap for meals.

They won six, with Currie proclaiming: "I have lost my virginity, darling. I feel great. All the adrenalin is running. I'm pleased."
