Emergency services called as minibus overturns in Borders

It is not yet known if there are any casualties at the scene on the A6089.

A minibus has overturned on a road in the Borders.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the A6089 near Gordon at around 10.50am on Saturday.

The road was closed in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident.

The fire service said that four fire engines were sent to the scene.

Police tweeted: “Officers are currently in attendance between Carfraemill and Gordon following a report that a minibus overturned at 10.50am.

“Closures are in place in both directions and emergency services are on the scene.”

It is not known if there are any casualties.
