Fifa investigates anti-IRA chants at Croatia match
Fifa is investigating reports that England fans chanted "no surrender" during their World Cup semi-final defeat by Croatia.
Football's ruling body said that the disciplinary probe relates to the singing of the anti-IRA song and other potentially discriminatory songs.
"We can confirm that a report has been filed in relation to chants of a possible discriminatory nature by English fans," said Fifa. "Proceedings have been opened against The Football Association."
It comes after the FA was fined more than £50,000 because three England players - Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Raheem Sterling - wore unauthorised socks at Russia 2018.
