Firefighters extinguish blaze in terrace

Crews spent around eight hours at the scene dealing with the incident.

Firefighters have tackled a blaze at a terraced property in Glasgow.

Four fire engines went to Hilton Gardens in the Anniesland area of the city when the alarm was raised at 2.59am on Wednesday.

Around 18 firefighters were sent to the scene.

Crews brought the blaze under control and the last fire engine left the area at around 11.15am.

A fire investigation team was also sent to the scene.
