Friends' tribute to zookeeper who was killed by tiger

By Henry Vaughn

Colleagues of a zookeeper who was killed after a tiger entered the enclosure she was in have said: "We miss her very much."

A Hamerton Zoo Park spokesman paid tribute to Rosa King (34) following her death on Monday. "Rosa was not only an invaluable and highly respected member of our team, first and foremost, she was our friend and we miss her very much. Rosa's commitment to animals and wildlife were an inspiration to all those who worked with and knew her. We are still coming to terms with what has happened."

Cambridgeshire police said a joint investigation with Huntingdonshire District Council is ongoing.
