Geldof pregnant with first child
Model and television presenter Peaches Geldof is pregnant with her first child, her spokeswoman has confirmed.
The 22-year-old, the daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, recently got engaged to Thomas Cohen.
Her spokeswoman said: "Peaches Geldof and her fiance Thomas Cohen are delighted to announce that Peaches is pregnant with their first child.
"Peaches is utterly thrilled and they have the full support of both of their families who are equally excited for the baby's arrival."
Geldof has grown up in the glare of the celebrity limelight, but while press interest has tended to focus on her penchant for partying, she has carved out a niche presenting a number of youth TV programmes including Peaches Geldof: Teenage Mind and A Beginner's Guide To Islam.
She divorced rock musician Max Drummey in 2009 after a six-month marriage. The pair had married in secret in a drive-in ceremony in Las Vegas after a 10-day romance.
Her mother died from an accidental heroin overdose in 2000, at the age of 40.
Yates, the former presenter of Channel 4's Big Breakfast and The Tube, had split from Bob Geldof five years earlier following an affair with INXS frontman Michael Hutchence.
Australian Hutchence was found dead in a hotel room in Sydney in 1997 and Yates went on to lose custody of the three children she had with Geldof - Peaches, Pixie and Fifi - the following year.
