A motorist who died in a crash in the Highlands has been named.

Ian Bremner, 74, was driving on the A938 near Grantown-on-Spey on Wednesday when the collision happened near Dulnain Bridge.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash at around 8.20pm.

Police offered their condolences to relatives of Mr Bremner, from Strathpeffer.

Road Policing Sergeant Chris Murray said: “Our thoughts remain with Mr Bremner’s family and friends at this time.”
