The royal party were given a guided tour by Dean of Westminster Dr John Hall.
Prince Harry has joined the King and Queen of Spain to honour at a ceremony in Westminster Abbey.
King Felipe VI laid a wreath of yellow roses and red carnations on the grave of the Unknown Warrior inside the ancient abbey in central London.
The Dean of Westminster, Dr John Hall, gave the royal visitors a guided tour of the abbey, including the Tomb of Eleanor “Leonor” of Castile – the 13th-century Spanish princess who married Edward I.
The Spanish royals also signed the visitors’ book.
Dr Hall said he spoke to the king about “the importance of reconciliation both within the church and between our nations”.
“Obviously, we touched on the fact that we had not always been so friendly,” he added. “We had a very good conversation and the king was very relaxed.”
