In Pictures: How does a squirrel monkey cool down in a heatwave?

Keepers at ZSL London Zoo have come up with some fun ways to help their animals cope with the soaring temperatures.

With temperatures soaring in the capital, ZSL London Zoo’s animals have been cooling off with icy treats made of frozen fruit tea and nuts.

The troop of Bolivian black-capped squirrel monkeys enjoyed mini frozen fruit-tea lollies hung up high in the foliage of their enclosure.
