Jenny Eclair latest to leave jungle

Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder and former X Factor contestant Stacey Solomon will go head to head in the final of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! as the public decides who will be crowned king or queen of the jungle.

Mother-of-one Solomon, 21, is the bookmakers' favourite to scoop the 2010 title on Saturday night after winning over fellow campmates and the public with her happy-go-lucky personality.

The pair made it to the final of the competition on Friday night after comic Jenny Eclair was given her marching orders after enduring 16 days in the jungle.

Eclair, 50, said she was "relieved and pleased" to be heading home. As she left the camp, she gushed "Oh thank you, thank you so much", telling the two remaining campmates she was "so pleased" they had made it to the final.

The comedienne, who was a late entry into the camp with Dom Joly, also warned hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly: "I stink." She added: "I've gone feral, I really have.

"I'm hugely relieved, you know I didn't have another day in me. I'm shocked to pieces, I'd have put money on me coming about 10th."

Eclair, who came third overall, added her voice to the host of jungle evictees who want former X Factor contestant Solomon to win the show.

"Aggro (Santos) and Stacey are fabulous kids," she said, adding "girls rule" when asked who should win.

She said her time in the jungle had been "extraordinary", adding: "It has been mad, dangerous, stupid, filthy, awful - and then, quite good fun."

Bookmakers William Hill is offering odds of 1/12 on Solomon taking the jungle title, with former hellraiser Ryder an outside bet at 6/1. The last episode in this series of I'm A Celebrity will be shown on Saturday at 9.25pm on ITV1.
