Kate joins crowds at Wimbledon
The Duchess of Cambridge joined spectators at Wimbledon yesterday to watch players competing during the second day of the world-famous tennis championships
Kate, who is a passionate tennis fan and patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, shunned the royal box to take a seat on Court 14 to watch British player Harriet Dart in action. She also toured the grounds, visiting courts throughout the day.
Kate, who wore a white summer dress and sunglasses, sat between Katie Boulter, who is not competing at Wimbledon because of an ongoing back injury, and retired tennis player Anne Keothavong.
Meanwhile, her brother-in-law the Duke of Sussex yesterday gave a keynote speech at a national youth mentoring summit, organised by the Diana Award, a charity Harry supports which honours his late mother's legacy. During the event he said he will forever be a role model to son Archie.
