Man quizzed by anti-terror police

A 24-year-old man is being questioned on suspicion of terror offences.

Officers from the North West Counter Terrorism Unit searched an address in Crumpsall, Manchester, on Friday.

The suspect was arrested the following day on suspicion of offences under the Terrorism Act, said Greater Manchester Police.

A police spokesman said: "There is believed to be no threat to the community of Greater Manchester relating to the circumstances of this address."
