Man remanded over boys murder bid
A man has been remanded in custody after he appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of two boys aged 12 and 13 who were stabbed in the street.
Richard Walsh appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court in connection with the attack in Havant, Hampshire, on June 26.
The boys are in a "serious but stable" condition in hospital following the incident, according to police.
Walsh, of no fixed abode, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, one of assault and one of robbery of a bicycle.
The case against the 43-year-old was adjourned for a further hearing at Portsmouth Crown Court on July 20.
