Manhunt after three people are murdered in Oxfordshire

By PA Reporters

A man suspected of stabbing to death his six-year-old sister, their mother and her partner, is being hunted by police.

Armed police officers are scouring Didcot in Oxfordshire and its surrounding areas, including Oxford University's parks, for 21-year-old Jed Allen who has a distinctive spider tattoo on his left hand.

The bodies of Philip Howard (44), Janet Jordon (48), and daughter Derin were discovered in a house on Saturday night, following a call from a member of the public.

Armed officers are involved in the search for the suspect, although there is no suggestion that he is carrying a weapon.
