Two 12-year-old girls missing for around 48 hours have been found safe and well, police said.
Jasmine Thornber, from Blackburn, and Michaela Wotherspoon, from Darwen, were found at around 11.30pm on Tuesday.
The pair had left their homes on Sunday afternoon to meet each other but did not return as expected.
They were located in the Blackburn area by police two days later.
A spokeswoman for Lancashire Police said: “They have both been found safe and well.”
