Post-mortem examinations on a married couple found dead at their home in South Wales have proved "inconclusive", police said.
The bodies of a 71-year-old man and a woman (58) were found by neighbours in Cwmbach, Aberdare, on Tuesday.
Police said they are still treating the deaths of the couple - named locally as Barry and Kath Haberfield - as unexplained.
It is believed that retired supermarket manager Mr Davies and his former shop worker wife were found dead after two neighbours had called to check if they were all right after seeing a light on downstairs in the morning. Fire Service firefighters attended Mr and Mrs Haberfield's bungalow on Tuesday morning but did not detect carbon monoxide.
Post-mortems did not indicate a cause of death, police said.
Further tests are to be carried out, the results of which could take up to six weeks.
