Norfolk Police said on Friday that a man and woman, both aged in their 40s and from the Great Yarmouth area, who were arrested in connection with her death have been released from police custody.

Police said witnesses to the incident reported hearing a “loud bang” before the inflatable “apparently burst”.

A post-mortem examination recorded that Ava-May died of a head injury.

In a tribute issued through police, Ava-May’s family said: “Her infectious laugh and smile could light up even the darkest of rooms.”
