Police name man who died after crash between car and lorry

A man who died following a collision between a car and a lorry has been named by police.

Gary Sinclair, 50, was driving a black Citroen DS3 on the A801 in West Lothian when it was involved in a collision with a Scania lorry at around 7.30pm on Sunday evening.

The crash happened between the Boghead and Heathfield roundabouts.

Mr Sinclair was from Livingston.

His family said they would like to thank everyone who came to his aid and responded to the crash, both members of the public and the emergency services.

Police asked anyone with information that could help their investigation into the collision to contact Livingston Road Policing Unit on 101 quoting reference 4160 of Sunday October 28.
