Police probe hacking of Katie Price plastic surgery clinic
Police are investigating after hackers stole data from a cosmetic surgery clinic whose celebrity clients include Katie Price.
London Bridge Plastic Surgery (LBPS) said it is "horrified" that its patients had been targeted in the cyber attack which was reported to police on October 17.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Organised Crime Command are investigating.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said there have been no arrests and enquires are continuing. LBPS described the hackers as "highly sophisticated" and said they had targeted medical providers in the US in the past year.
Price, the glamour model turned businesswoman, has previously posted images of her facelift and thanked LBPS for an "amazing result".
LBPS said: "We are still working to establish exactly what data has been compromised.
"We are profoundly sorry for any distress this data breach may cause our patients and our team are available around the clock to speak to anyone who has any concerns by calling 0203 858 0664."
