Police probe ‘suspicious’ death in Edinburgh’s West End

Police are investigating a “suspicious” death in Edinburgh’s West End.

Officers were called to a disturbance on Chester Street at around 8pm on Wednesday and found a man “seriously injured”.

He died at the scene, officers said.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “His death is being treated as suspicious and inquiries are continuing.

“Anyone who believes they have any relevant information should contact police immediately.”
