Prince Harry visits hospital Diana toured
The Duke of Sussex retraced his late mother's footsteps when he visited young patients at Sheffield Children's Hospital.
Yesterday Harry signed the visitors' book and examined the signature of his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, who visited almost 30 years ago in November 1989.
The duke was at the hospital to open a new £40m wing.
Dressed in an open-necked shirt, a casual blue jacket and blue trousers, Harry also had the opportunity to pore over a book of photographs showing Diana's visit.
He also chatted with children on one of the new wards, as well observing the playroom and specialist plaster room where youngsters with broken limbs have casts put on with a range of colourful options.
As part of his engagements, Harry also visited Sheffield Hallam University, finishing his day in the city at the Invictus UK Trials at the English Institute of Sport.
