Protest against Iran war threat

Anti-war activists are set to hold protests across the country to warn against any moves to launch military attacks against Iran.

Demonstrations will be held in several cities, including London, Liverpool, Manchester, Edinburgh, Bristol and Newcastle upon Tyne, organised by the Stop the War Coalition.

The group said it was concerned that pressure was building for an attack on Iran, just as the war in Afghanistan was "unravelling" and nine years after the Iraq war started.
