Jake Quickenden put the x -factor into I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! when he arrived in the camp.
The reality star, who made it to the live finals of the ITV singing show, was a huge hit with his female fellow contestants when he joined them in the Australian jungle with Edwina Currie.
The former Tory MP was certainly impressed, saying: "If I was 40 years younger I would cover him with kisses but I'm not 40 years younger and I'm rather a lot older than his mother."
Former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson was also pleased to see him, saying: "What a nice way to wake up."
Less impressed was former footballer Jimmy Bullard, who moaned to the Bush Telegraph that he could not compete with the muscle-bound Quickenden.
He said: "He's getting his muscles out. I was the number one big dog and you put him in. Outrageous."
Quickenden walked Wilkinson out of the camp when viewers voted for her to take part in her second consecutive Bushtucker Trial, but things went rapidly downhill from there.
The US star was strapped inside a giant cocktail shaker filled with cockroaches and asked to find stars hidden inside cubes, but only found one before screaming "I'm a celebrity ... Get me out of here!"
