Sex claims Prince Andrew to host event in Switzerland

By Helen William

The Duke of York is to appear in public on official duties for the first time since the allegations that he had sex with an underage teenager broke.

Andrew will attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

A notice on his official Facebook page said he will "host a Pitch@Palace Reception at Davos on 22nd January to promote British Entrepreneurship".

Buckingham Palace issued a strong denial after the Duke was named in US civil court documents earlier this month as having had sex with the woman when she was a minor.

The Duke, the Queen's third-born, vehemently denies the allegations made against him by the woman.
