Son of TV antiques expert Eric Knowles killed in road crash

By Staff Reporter

The son of Antiques Roadshow ceramics expert Eric Knowles has died in a motorway crash.

Seb Knowles died on the M40 in Buckinghamshire early last Friday after his Mercedes was in a collision with a lorry near Beaconsfield.

The 26-year-old, a Wycombe Wanderers fan from Reading, started working as a DJ at the age of 14 in his local roller disco.

He spent a decade playing gigs in central London bars under the name DJ Sparky B. He also held a weekly radio slot on Time FM before moving to Wycombe Sound in 2013.

Earlier in the week he had played his usual slot for the students of Royal Holloway in Surrey. It is not known if he was driving back from an event at the time of the accident.

Thames Valley Police confirmed that a man passed away after a crash on the M40 on Friday and appealed for witnesses to come forward. The 53-year-old sole occupant of the lorry was unharmed.
