Suspect is named in probe into fire deaths

An 18-year-old being held on suspicion of murder after a house fire left four dead has been named as Dyson Allen.

Allen was arrested following the fire last Saturday evening at the bungalow in Freckleton, Lancashire, which killed siblings, Reece Smith (19), four-year-old twin girls Holly and Ella Smith, and Jordan Smith, aged two.

Police confirmed the fire began inside a wardrobe in one of the upstairs attic bedrooms at the house on Lytham Road, Freckleton.

The victims' mother Michelle Smith (36), who has five other children, was led out of the house by firefighters.

The blaze took hold hours after the family held a birthday party.
