Teenager quizzed over boy's death

Police have launched a murder inquiry after the death of a 17-year-old boy.

Stanley Harrison, from Daventry, Northamptonshire, was pronounced dead after police were called to an address in the Newbury Close area of the town in the early hours of yesterday.

Detective Inspector Louise Hemingway, from the Major Investigation Team of the East Midlands Special Operations Unit, said officers were questioning another youth and were not looking for anyone else in connection with the inquiry.

The senior officer said: "A 17-year-old male is in custody with Northamptonshire Police. We are appealing for any witnesses to contact us via 101, quoting Operation Nautical".
