Teenagers hunted over bank robbery

Two teenage boys are being hunted by police after a security guard was robbed of thousands of pounds at a bank.

One boy apparently grabbed a bag of money as it was being handed to a cashier in Lloyds TSB in Sheerness High Street on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent.

He is described as white, 15 or 16 years old, about 5ft 8in and was wearing a grey hooded top and white trainers, Kent Police said.

His accomplice is also white and aged 15 or 16. He is slim and wore blue jeans and a dark-coloured knitted bobble hat.

CCTV images of the robbers have been released by detectives.

The robbery took place just before 1pm last Friday August 27.
