Two men charged with murder over Doncaster pub shooting

Two men have been charged with murder following the shooting of 21-year-old Tom Bell in a Doncaster pub last week.

South Yorkshire Police announced on Wednesday that Joseph Bennia, 28, of Balby, and Scott Gocoul, 29, of Bilton, East Riding of Yorkshire, have both been charged with murder and remanded in custody.

The pair will appear before Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

Mr Bell, 21, was shot dead at the Maple Tree pub on Plantation Road in the Balby area of the city at around 8:45pm on January 17.
