Woman arrested over child’s death
A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a four-year-old girl whose body was found in the grounds of a hospital.
The discovery was made after a woman and a child were reported missing at around 10pm on Tuesday in Inverness, prompting a major police search.
The youngster was found dead shortly after 3am yesterday at the rear of Raigmore Hospital in the Highland city.
Northern Constabulary confirmed a 43-year-old woman had been arrested.
