Woman left shaken after armed raid

A woman was left shaken after being threatened by a masked man during an armed robbery in Co Tyrone.

The raid occurred at commercial premises on the Barony Road in Creggan - between Cookstown and Omagh - on Wednesday night.

Shortly after 9.30pm a masked man armed with a suspected firearm entered the premises and threatened a female member of staff.

He made off on foot with cash, scratch cards and cigarettes, police said.

The female staff member was not injured but left shaken by the ordeal.

Police urged anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information that can assist the investigation to contact detectives in Omagh on 101 quoting reference 1434 14/02/18.
