X Factor duo finish with a punch
A singing duo's audition for The X Factor has ended with a punch during an argument provoked by criticism from one of the judges.
Producers broke up the row between Abbey Johnston and Lisa Parker at auditions in the Birmingham NEC back in June.
Abbey apparently lashed out when Lisa claimed Abbey had the hots for judge Louis Walsh.
Lisa, 17, from Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, told the Daily Mirror: "It's sad but stuff happens."
She blamed head judge Simon Cowell's nasty comments for causing tempers to flare.
Cowell described her performance of Journey's Don't Stop Believin' and Shayne Ward's That's My Goal as the worst audition in history, Lisa said.
She added that she remembered being hit: "I think Abbey only hit me once but then a security guard grabbed her and another one pushed me against the wall so I couldn't get to her. If Simon hadn't been so nasty, this probably wouldn't have happened."
An X Factor spokesman said: "Things got a bit heated. Producers quickly stepped in."
