Young mother murdered in bathroom
Detectives have launched a murder hunt after a young mother was found stabbed and strangled in her bathroom.
Scotland Yard appealed for Ezekiel Foster to come forward as the force confirmed Sashana Roberts, 24, had been killed at her north London terrace home.
Her body was found on Monday by a friend who had become concerned for the victim's welfare.
Acting Detective Chief Inspector Andy Manning, of the Met's homicide and serious crime command, said he is keen to speak to Mr Foster, 28, of Brent.
No weapons were found at the scene in Cricklewood, north-west London, after police were contacted shortly after 5.10pm on Monday by the family friend.
Officers and paramedics attended but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Post-mortem examinations are scheduled to take place on Wednesday at Northwick Park Hospital.
Mr Manning said: "We are appealing for witnesses and information regarding the events surrounding the death of young mother Sashana.
"We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in or around Ivy Road between midday and 5pm on Monday September 12. We are also keen to speak to anyone who knows the whereabouts of Ezekiel Foster. All calls will be treated with the utmost confidence."
Anyone with information is urged to contact the incident room on 020 8358 0331 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
