Aintree’s Ladies Day finishes with impromptu Sweet Caroline singalong
Racegoers enjoyed a rendition of Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline after the last race of Aintree’s Ladies Day.
Racegoers at the annual Aintree Ladies Day finished off the day’s action with a singalong session to Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline.
Visitors on the second day of the Grand National Festival, traditionally named Ladies Day, broke into song after the last race of the day.
Taking place at Aintree Racecourse on Merseyside, an estimated 50,000 people attend Ladies Day annually.
Celebrities at the racecourse included Real Housewives Of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley, former Love Island contestants Chris Hughes and Olivia Buckland, and Spencer Matthews of Made In Chelsea.
More than 150,000 racegoers are expected to descend on the racecourse over the three-day Aintree Grand National Event.
The event will end with the Randox Health Grand National steeplechase on Saturday.
