Sweden legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic has gone for some big transfer fees in his time, but none quite as large as the 1,000 krona note he found his face upon.
The striker, who spent a highly successful year on loan at Manchester United last season, has experienced big-money moves from Inter to Barcelona, Barcelona to Milan, and Juventus to Inter through his career.
But this is something else.
The 35-year-old, who is currently without a club, can be seen posing with his giant 1,000 Swedish Krona note – it works out at about £93 sterling, so it’s not quite as impressive as it first looks.
The note is the work of Swedish photographer Bingo Rimer, and is unfortunately not legal tender – although it would almost certainly be worth more as a work of art than the value it depicts.
Zlatan notched 17 Premier League goals in 28 games last season with United, as well as scoring the winning goal in the 2016 League Cup final, and earning his first European trophy in the Europa League too.
Currently recovering from a knee injury, the striker is without a club – will this Instagram post be his last big money move?
